beN

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Ben found his passion for fitness when he realized the impact it had on him as a person in all aspects of life, especially his mental health.

“I had a really difficult early twenties, to the point where I required medication just to function mentally. The fitness lifestyle completely changed my life. I have been medicine free for 5 years now, and have never felt happier or more in control of my life. I’m committed to now give that same feeling to others.”

Caleb

Born into a military family in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kalib moved around a great deal as a child until finally settling down in Wisconsin. Around three years ago Kalib decided to move to New York City in search of something bigger and better. That search led him to helping others get into amazing shape.

“What got me into training was the sheer amount of inspiration I got from seeing someone else’s life improve so drastically once they started reaching their goals. I would be wasting my purpose in life if I wasn’t giving back to others the way I was once given the support needed to get to where I am today."

Camila

Born and raised in Cali, Colombia, Camila found her passion for fitness after years of battling with her mental health and low self-esteem.

"I decided I'd had enough and chose to take control of who I was going to be. I educated myself on everything fitness and health, and have become strong, both physically and mentally, from my journey. Now the most rewarding part of my fitness journey is having he opportunity to share my knowledge with others."

aloy

Raised in Singapore, Aloy found his passion for fitness at a very young age and hasn't looked back since.

"Fitness is just as much about the process as it is about the end result. It's about personal growth, perseverance, and reaching our potential. Helping people reach their fitness goals is just a metaphor for their real growth, their inner growth. Oh, and I love helping people look snatched!"

Alexander

Born and raised in Baltimore, Li first got into modern dance before finding Pilates and weight training.

Attracted more to the athletics of dance, he moved his way into Pilates where he fell in love with conscious movement and the mind-body connection.

Li loves to bring the detailed Pilates approach to weight training and the full-bodied challenge of functional movements to Pilates class.

“I have a pretty obsessively analytical mind and I love to sweat the small details of big movements. I think Pilates feeds perfectly into learning how to engage the core in barbell and bodyweight movements. For me the fun is in finding the surprising overlaps between different approaches to movement and using mat class as a laboratory to break down the small but crucial details of power and gymnastic movements.”

evan

Hailing from the mountains of Colorado, Evan moved to NYC in 2009. He took the leap with an off-Broadway production and found himself homeless.  After several years as a beverage director in the UWS, Evan found his home in the gym.

"I realized while pursuing a career in entertainment, I had to also work in a field that supported my mental health and one that gives me the opportunity to give back. Fitness has provided me a way to clear my head and focus on my well being; it's not just physical, fitness is mental and spiritual."

Chao
Born in Malaysia and raised in Queens NY

Growing up, Chao took up playing in multiple sports teams on a high school and collegiate level as an outlet to managing adolescent obesity. Her passion in athletics led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in exercise science, with the intention of helping the general population bridge the gap between health and fitness.

"People are not fragile. We tend to underestimate how much the human body can handle under tension. Strength training has been life changing for me, and I hope more people can see the value in being the strongest versions of themselves instead of having to fixate over seeing the smallest number on the scale or having to worry about what they're eating on vacation."

Doug

A Central New York native, Doug picked up his first dumbbell while pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. He has since found his purpose in using his past struggles with his body and mental health to help people get stronger in more ways than one.

"It was when I stepped in to the gym that I was able to release the need to be a perfect person and work on being the best version of myself. Giving others that same experience and watching them crush their goals is hands down the best part of my day."
